It's your Choice! |

Over the past few months hundreds of Oconee
County residents have made a concerted effort
to make our home a better place to live. They
have done it by participating in a major project
to define Oconee County in 2028. They did it
by expressing their opinions through mail in
forms, online input, focus group participation,
and by attending one of four public meetings.
We extend our heartiest thanks to each and every person who made his or her voice heard. Participation in this effort evidences the community's interest in making sure our future is bright. But, the job is not done. We need your help once again. |

| Based on the input gathered over these months, the professional organization commissioned to lead this effort has prepared a preliminary draft of the Oconee County's Vision for the Future. Prior to the final draft of this most important document - the citizens of our County must once more step up with our opinions! |

A Town Meeting has been scheduled so that
the preliminary draft can be released to the
public and your thoughts recorded. This is the
last input we'll have before our plan is finalized
and published. BE THERE and express your
opinion.
